FAQ
Everything you are wondering, answered.
What free mortgage resources does Honest Mortgage offer?
Plenty. Our Honest Numbers page has a full set of free calculators (payment, affordability, refinance break-even, rent vs. buy and more) with no email wall at all. Alongside them you'll find plain-English guides, a home value tool, and a real advisor whenever a calculator isn't enough.
Do I have to give my email to use the calculators?
No. Every calculator on this site is free and ungated, with no email, no sign-up and no credit pull. The home value tool is the one exception, and its card says so: it asks for your address and a way to reach you.
What is a Loan Estimate?
It is the standard three-page form every lender must give you within three business days of your application, laid out the same way by law so two offers can be compared line by line. Our Loan Estimate guide walks through the real document section by section.
